DOCUMENTATION

Getting started with Medya Ops.

This is a plain-language overview of how the product fits together, not an exhaustive reference — we're a small team and full documentation is still being built out. If something here doesn't answer your question, email hello@medyaops.com and we'll help directly, and likely add the answer here for the next person.

Organizations and workspaces

Everything in Medya Ops belongs to an organization — your agency, your station, your company. You can belong to more than one organization (an agency and a client's own workspace, for instance) and switch between them from the workspace switcher; each one's data is completely separate from the others.

The campaign workflow

A campaign moves through the same stages every time:

  • Media plan — imported from Excel, CSV or PDF, or built directly.
  • Schedule — the plan turned into structured, committed line items.
  • MPOs — media purchase orders generated and sent to each station or media owner.
  • Creative & approval — the creative attached, with any regulatory approval it needs.
  • Send — the order actually delivered to the recipient.
  • Proof — certificates of execution matched back against what was ordered.
  • Invoice & reconciliation — what ran compared against what's owed.

A campaign's own page shows exactly where it sits in this chain at a glance.

Credits

Certain operations — document extraction, generating orders, assembling a submission package, and similar — use credits, shown before you run them. Add credits from the Wallet page in your workspace; a card top-up goes through Paystack and lands in your balance as soon as the payment is confirmed.

Roles and permissions

What someone can do in an organization depends on their role — viewing is generally open to every member, while approving, sending or changing settings is restricted to specific roles. If a page offers to let you "fix" something and you can't, it's telling you the fact and leaving the fixing to whoever holds that permission, not hiding the option from you.
